Sai Oral Health Foundation has been established as a service oriented nonprofit, voluntary organisation in 1987, dedicated to the cause of ensuring health for all poor and needy people, particularly from rural and tribal "areas, especially children of school going age suffering from various Paediatric, Dental, ENT, Ophthalmic, Skin and Heart aliments. The need for establishing such a voluntary organisation arose from an awareness that the government alone could not effectively handle an operation of such a mammoth dimensions. Therefore a few like-minded individuals got together to set up a Foundation, as a supplement to whatever was already being done by the Government. In view of poor and economic living conditions of rural and tribal people, it was felt that while some of the' ailments could be prevented through Health Education; the others could be cured only through medication and aids.

The following are the aims and objectives of the Foundation:

1. Affording of Medical Relief to poor and needy people especially children.

2. Propagation of awareness of General and Dental Health among public especially Children, Parents, Teachers and Health Workers

3. To conduct General Health and Dental Health Training Programmes for Medical officers, Health workers, Teachers and Community leaders.

4.To reduce the incidence of Dental Diseases among school children and adults and provide free Dental Services, and treatment with follow-up action taken on defective cases.
5.To donate equipment to the hospitals for upgrading the treatment especially for school children. To visit rural and tribal areas in the districts, to provide effective treatment where such medical treatment is not available or inadequate
